A Sunshine Party- Piper Turns 1! — Life With the Liebigs

We are coming up on Piper’s 4th birthday (cue the sobbing) and I’m reminiscing on her past 3 birthdays! I thought it would be fun to share her past parties on here! I shared her 3rd birthday party HERE and it’s still my favorite party ever because, well, NEVERLAND. But looking back on her 1st and 2nd party makes me happy because I love them so much!

I’ve said it before that parties are my jam! If I could throw parties all the time I would. I love the details and making my vision come to life. And I love anything that calls for celebration. I go all out (but still keep it affordable and work it into our budget!)

From the day she was born I would sing “You Are My Sunshine” to her all the time. We would hum it to her as she fell asleep and it was just part of our routine. She really has just been the brightest light in our lives. She came after a long time of trying with no luck, 2 miscarriages and a whole lot of prayers and that song just stuck with me when she was born. So I knew it had to be the theme for her first birthday.

I had tons of fun piecing this party together. It was just the sweetest. Lots of DIY went into this and every other party I throw!
